Tarquin
Tarquin
Who they are: Tarquin is a clever and adventurous 8-year-old who loves trains, maps, and uncovering hidden secrets.
Personality: Smart, inquisitive, and a little bit cheeky. He’s always up for an adventure - especially if it involves the London Underground!
Fun fact: Tarquin can name every single Tube station in order from memory!
Favourite thing to do: Exploring new places and solving mysteries (especially if an ogre is involved!).
Grandad
Grandad
Who they are: Grandad is Tarquin’s wise and adventurous 72-year-old grandfather who loves history, storytelling, and a good cup of tea.
Personality: Kind, patient, and full of fascinating facts about London. He’s always ready to share a story!
Fun fact: He once rode every Tube line in a single day, just for fun.
Favourite thing to do: Taking Tarquin on trips around the city and uncovering London’s hidden secrets.

The Ogre
The Ogre
Who they are: A large, mysterious ogre who seems to live in the depths of the London Underground. No one knows exactly how old he is or how long he’s been there.
Personality: Mysterious, a bit intimidating at first, and always watching. His true nature is a bit of a mystery - no one is sure if he’s a friend or something else.
Fun fact: Despite his size, he’s surprisingly good at squeezing into Tube carriages - though he sometimes gets stuck in the doors!
Favourite thing to do: Eating, and learning everything he can about humans - especially their strange customs and food!
